Once free entry with Miskolc Pass Tourist Card.

The Szeleta Park exhibition, entitled “The Age-Old Secrets of the Bükk Caves – The Nature of Early Humans”, presents the natural treasures of the Bükk Mountains, its fascinating geological history, unique water system and cave network, the beehive stones, the characteristic flora and fauna of the region, as well as the world-famous Szeleta culture and the discoveries made here, at the birthplace of Hungarian prehistoric archaeology.

The exhibition presents all this not only through graphics, but also through interactive displays and 2D and 3D films. These themes are also incorporated into the visitor centre’s environmental education programmes, which welcome primary and secondary school students from the surrounding area. A dedicated activity room is available for these educational sessions.

The Stone Age Karst Adventure indoor playground, located inside the building, is designed for children aged 4–14. Children can descend into the “Doline Pit” and explore a multi-level tunnel system while discovering the wildlife of the Bükk Mountains. Along the way, they can encounter a sabre-toothed tiger and even try their hand at archaeology.

In the square in front of the building, children can enjoy the Bikkmakk Playground, while the Spiderweb Playground, located in the park and accessible with an admission ticket, offers further opportunities for play.
