Miskolc Pass Classic card has been the official city card of Miskolc since 15. December 2016.
The card is only available for inhabitants who have got permanent resident cards as well as offers several discounts primarily within and partly outside the administrative region of Miskolc.
The issuer of Miskolc Pass Classic is MIDMAR Touristic Ltd. of Miskolc, local touristic organization of Miskolc, which from time to time tries to ensure possibility for users of the city card to visit not only programmes of Miskolc but also sights, programmes in the surroundings at a reduced price.
Former city card of Miskolc was MiskolcPont card, exchange of which will take place between 15. January and 28. February 2017.

Why should I exchange my MiskolcPont card?
Because MiskolcPont is going to merge with 365-day Miskolc Pass discount card, so the new card has been named as Miskolc Pass Classic. After exchange a Smart QR code based card supplied with the most modern technology of Europe will be available, which can also be saved in a smart device, so in order to use discounts it is sufficient to show QR code – received at the time of purchase – on either smartphone or tablet.

When do I have an opportunity to exchange my MiskolcPont card?
It is free of charge between 15. January 2017. and 28. February 2017.

Invariably for a year from the day of card request.

In case you have got a permanent address in Miskolc, you can request a new MiskolcPass Classic card at an unchanged price in ticket offices of MVK Ltd., Miskolc Bolt and Café or in the Tourinform office.
What shall I do if my MiskolcPont card expires between 15. January and 28. February 2017.?
In this case there is no need to exchange cards, you can use your MiskolcPont card until the expiration date. If you would like to use new Miskolc Pass Classic card afterwards, you will have a chance to buy it in the Tourinform office and in Miskolc Bolt and Café.
What shall I do if my MiskolcPont card expires after 28. February 2017.?
You should exchange MiskolcPont card for new Miskolc Pass Classic card. It is possible to do this free of charge till 28. February 2017., since MiskolcPont card cannot be used after this date. Expiration date of new Miskolc Pass Classic card remains the same as that of MiskolcPont.

No, you cannot buy it. Miskolc Pass Classic card can be purchased by only those who have got permanent resident cards of Miskolc.

I do not live in Miskolc, but I have got a MiskolcPont card, because I live in one of the settlements in the surroundings of the city. Can I buy/request a Miskolc Pass Classic card?
No, you cannot buy/request it. Inhabitants of the settlements in the surroundings of Miskolc are not entitled to use a Miskolc Pass Classic card. It can be purchased by only those who have got permanent resident cards of Miskolc.

It has not been possible to collect points since 16. December 2016.

No, it is not possible. With the new card collecting points ended.

Points can be spent during validity of the card. Points which were not spent cannot be transferred to new Miskolc Pass Classic card in case of requesting a new card.

Since in this case there is no need to exchange cards, points can be spent during validity of the card.

Yes, you can use it.. Card owners can use 10% discount invariably.
